@japanese forms: My apologies for the unattributed image heist and thank you for the note. I've added a note at the end of the post and a link to your flickr site, as well as linked the image itself to your site. I do hope you continue to visit and enjoy the site. I really enjoyed your "on my desk" series of photographs. All the best, Daniel

Hi, I really like Chris Marker and check regularly your site for news and updates. This morning I was surprised to see part of one of my photographs, which has been cut and digitally processed by someone, used for this post. I don't mind people doing this but at least include a link to the original.

Adrian: Thank you so much for this information. I would be delighted if you could write a piece expanding on this information, or on a topic of your choosing, as a guest post - you can reach me at blind.librarian@chrismarker.org directly. Do you know the best means of ordering the small book on OWLS AT NOON? Once again, many thanks and great work on ROUGE and these other projects. Best, Daniel Potter

Anyone here on this terrific site yet mentioned that the latest CINEASTE has Guillaume-en-Egypte (plus Penelope Cruz) on the cover, and inside an article by (ahem) me, plus a piece by Marker himself, on the origin of THE LAST BOLSHEVIK?

Also, just to remind all Markerians that Roger Tailleur's long classic text "Markeriana", an incredibly prophetic piece from 1963, is translated (by me again) at the current ROUGE (www.rouge.com.au). And the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane, Australia, has just published a small book on OWLS AT NOON PRELUDE: THE HOLLOW MEN, with essays by me again, and Raymond Bellour (translated by me again) - and an incredible pictorial layout largel designed by Chris himself.

Keep up the good work here!
