‘A.K.’ was the first Chris Marker’s film I saw, a 16 mm projection several years ago. I saw it again recently on the Criterion DVD of ‘Ran’ and I think I missed a scene with the story of a girl crossing the golden wheat field not being able to pick the most beautiful ear… Is this possible or is it just my imperfect memory?
